İpek Kağıt Tissue Paper is the leader in the Turkish tissue paper sector with Turkey’s foremost tissue paper brands.

This converting facility was a first step of a global 4 step plan, at the end of which, the site would be capable of producing and converting 180.000 Tons of paper within 225.000m² closed area. Hence the design of this initial step must take into account all the requirements for the future extensions, i.e. none of the achievements during this first step will ever have to be re-considered.

The Project covers;

·         Steel structure factory building (9300 m² closed area)

·         Auxiliary Facilities (400 m² closed area)

·         Administration Building (1500m² closed area)

·         Ground Improvement

·         Mechanical, Electrical, Infrastructural and Fine works

The following services were provided by PROKON;

–          Engineering and Design Services

·         Generation of detailed documents (detailed calculation sheets, drawings, specifications with detailed scope of work, performance levels, acceptance tests procedures, etc.)

·         Detailed engineering services for utilities (High / Low voltage, Low currents, IT, Firewater, Heating Cooling utilities, HVAC, Gas / Compressed air / Water)

·         Integration of the equipment that shall be bought directly by the client (converting machinery, dust removal system, air compressors, etc.)

–          Technical Files Preparation

·         Establishment of the technical files for the permits

·         Generation of the files for the Request For Quotes

·         Analysis of the offers

·         Preparation of the technical contractual files to be attached to the orders

–          Site Supervision Services

·         Assistance during the execution of the works

·         Work Schedule, Cost, Quality Control and tracing,

·         Material Approvals
