Information About the Project	The contract was signed between Tunisian Investor-Carthage Cement and EKON Endüstri İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş.–PROKON İmalat ve Montaj A.Ş.–FLSmidth Consortium on February 24th, 2010. The content of the contract was the design, supply, construction and installation of a 5800 tons/day clinker production capacity cement plant at Djebel Ressas. PROKON Engineering has provided the design and engineering services for civil, structural steel, mechanical, electrical erection, automation and commissioning services of the plant. The following units and structures are designed by PROKON: Raw Material Crushing, Conveying and Storage Coal Intake, Storage, Transport Additive Crushing, Intake, Storage, Transport Raw Mill Homogenization Silo Preheater, Kiln, Clinker Cooler By-Pass System Coal Mill Clinker Transport and Storage Cement Mill (1 and 2), Cement Silos (1, 2 and 3) 4 Packing Plant Bulk Dispatch to Trucks 4 Bag Dispatch to Trucks Palletizing Plant Alternative Liquid Fuel Storage Natural Gas Distribution Compressor Rooms Water Treatment and Distribution, Potable Water Unit Weighbridges Electrical Substations Central Control Room and Laboratory Service Buildings (Workshop, Changing Room, Open/Closed Storage, Canteen, Administration Building, Guard House)
