Bursa Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone Steam & Electricity Production Plant

Bursa, with a population of 2.8 million people is an important industrial centre, with the Demirtas Organised Industrial Zone (DOSAB) hosting several automotive, machinery and metal, furniture and textile factories. In order to supply process steam to these factories, the DOSAB management are planning to install a new coal-fired power plant with a capacity of 300 tons/h Process Steam and 49 MW electricity.

The studies for the lignite-fired circulating fluidized bed boiler (CFB) power plant, which will produce a total of 300 tons/h Process Steam and 49 MW electricity, has begun with the signing of Contract.

PROKON has been providing the following services under the scope of the project;

• Preparation of Feasibility Report to be submitted to International Financial Institutions
• Conceptual Design Services
• Preparation of Tender Documents for the Selection of Local and Foreign EPC Contractor
• Technical Evaluation of International EPC Contractors’ Proposals,
• Supervision Services during Construction, Tests and Commissioning Periods.
