Information About the Project

PROKON provided consultancy and supervision services for Ankara Metro 3rd Stage Project. This project connects 15,36 km long Batıkent-Sincan Stations and 3,11 km long Kızılay-Söğütözü Stations. Double-track rail system is constructed together with 5 pieces level crossing, 2 pieces viaduct, 2 pieces buried and 3 pieces deep buried stations. The route is built with different types of line structures; 6,84 km. long cut&cover line, 1,63 km long cutting, 1,82 km long level crossing, 0,62 km long elevated, 4,12 km long tunnel, 2,03 km long viaduct and 1,68 km long station line. The tunnels were performed with cut&cover and TBM Tunneling system.  

Properties of the system is as follows:

·         Average Distance between stations:1255 m

·         Average speed: 40 km/hour

·         Maximum speed: 80 km/hour

·         Daily operation time: 18 hours

·         Minimum time between the trains: 90 seconds

·         Batıkent-Sincan Circulation time: 22 minutes

Services within the scope of the project are listed below;

·         Topographic and geologic surveys

·         Route plan profile

·         Infrastructure fixing drawings

·         Preliminary, detail and application drawings of two station structures and Bored tunnels and Cut&Cover Structures

·         Storage field and Warehouse Building preliminary and detail drawings

·         Preparation of necessary documents for Tender Approval

·         To update all metro lines;

o    Update of existing trip estimates

o    Update of operation scenarios for  the whole system

o    Determination of the fleet based on trip estimates and queue frequency

·         Project coordination, revision and approval

o    Architectural and Landscaping

o    Mechanical works (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, plumbing & firefighting)
